Rather than be complicit or sit idly by while negative stereotypes about my people are propagated, I'd rather pour my energy into frontline and policy work. Under the tutelage and guidance of the Blavatnik School and Master of Public Policy cohort I hope to overcome this and continue my contribution following a different path.

Brooke is a proud Gamilaroi woman and is studying a Master of Public Policy at the University of Oxford. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) from the University of Technology Sydney. She has a long resume of journalist positions, most notable as the News and Entertainment Host on Channel 9's The Today Show. Brooke is passionate about community and in a post-Voice referendum Australia, wants to shift her focus onto policy. Upon returning to Australia, Brooke hopes to work within Reconciliation Australia and other government adjacent bodies, where media and mass communication meets policy and agenda setting.
