Christian thompson
Christian, a Bidjara man of the Kunja Nation, of South West Queensland, is a contemporary artist whose work explores notions of identity, cultural hybridity and history. As one of the inaugural Charlie Perkins Scholars in 2010, Christian completed a DPhil in Fine Art at Trinity College, Oxford.
He also holds a Masters in Theatre from the Amsterdam School of Fine Arts, a Masters of Fine Art (Sculpture), a Bachelor of Visual Art (Honours) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Southern Queensland. Christian is a well-known artist with over 15 years of experience, and has presented his photographs, videos and performance work in numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally.
