how to apply

There are 3 steps to completing the application process. Applicants should:

1.     REGISTER THEIR INTEREST WITH THE TRUST
Contact the Trust on scholarships@aurorafoundation.com.au to discuss your application and college choice. This is very important as we can provide advice, connect you with current students and support you through your application to Oxford and/or Cambridge.

2. APPLY FOR UNIVERSITY
Before applying you should check your preferred university's website - Oxford and/or Cambridge - to clarify exact entry requirements and application deadlines for your chosen course/s. The Trust encourages candidates to consider applying to both Universities to increase their chances of being accepted into their program of interest.

When you apply to Oxford or Cambridge you will be required to nominate two of the listed participating colleges. There is no limit to the number of application to different courses you can make. However, you will need to provide the full set of necessary supporting materials for each application you submit. The application fee for each program at the University of Oxford is £75, and £65 per application for the University of Cambridge. If you are applying for more than one course you will need to supply separate application forms and payments for each program. When you submit your application, you will be asked to pay the application fee by providing your credit card details to a secure server. The charge is not refundable.

3. APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP
Once the application dates are live, apply to the Trust for a Charlie Perkins Scholarship here.
Note: You must be accepted by the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge in order to be eligible to receive a Charlie Perkins Scholarship. You can apply for the Scholarship while your university application is under consideration.
