I grew up on the Sunshine Coast and am a great-granddaughter of Nellie Flynn of Rum Jungle in the Northern Territory. Community and history is a part of who I am and very important to me. I want to work for the benefit of Aboriginal Australia and help preserve our heritage. |
Dawn, a Woolwonga woman, has been accepted into a Masters of Archaeological Science at Keble College, Oxford.
She is currently in her research-based thesis year of a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of New England. At the same time, Dawn has worked as a Junior Operations Officer for the NSW Environment Protection Authority at the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment.
Dawn intends to focus her career on Indigenous genomic and bioethics in Australia.
