Oxford University offers such a range of opportunities that it is hard o fit in everything that you want to do.  There are hundreds of seminars that are presented by people in the top of their field, abundant clubs and societies to cover any one's interest, and optional training courses to maximise the skills you can gain while being a student.  The biggest challenge is fitting it all into your schedule!
Krystal, a descendant of the Gumbangerri and Dhungutti tribes, is from Queensland.  As a Charlie Perkins Scholar, she completed a MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice (Research Methods) at Green Templeton College, Oxford in 2013.

She also holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice (Honours) from Griffith University and is a Lecturer at their School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

The biggest support while settling in comes from the Indigenous Australian cohort!  It has been great to get the advice from the students who have been here and share our experience with the students who have just started.  What an inspiring mob to be a part of!
