Balliol College, Oxford 2019 Charlie Perkins Scholar 2019 Chevening Scholar 2018 Aurora Study Tour |
My first term has been the fastest, most exhausting few months of my life - moving countries and adapting to British culture, shops and business; getting used to a new (cold and rainy) climate; back to full time study after two years working; being free to be a super nerd in a field I love and being surrounded by others who are proud to be super nerdy about the field they love; being far away from friends, family and country; catching up with the Aurora Study Tour, other Aurora students; spending most of my money on thermals, jackets, hats and heaters... anything to keep warm! This term was all the emotions, all the feels! Excitement, homesickness, challenging, beautiful, adventurous, hard, freezing cold, exhausting... and the best few months ever. |
